Twillingbottom's Field Guide
The Woodsinger clan of elves originated in the Nentir Vale, to the west of the Dawnforge
Mountains. The Harken Forest is the location of the glade and their Feyspire, where they make their home. Cadet branches of the Woodsingers have spread the clan as far north as the Winterbole Forest on the southern borders of Scandan, west past the Ogrefist Hills, and even east through the Dawnforge range into the Hinterlands of the Golden Kingdom. The Hinterland clan lives in the village of Forlond, north of the Valniran scarp.
The Woodsinger elves are traditionally known for being excellent craftspeople and carpenters. The clan earned their name from their ability to “sing” to the wood, using their magic to shape and create the halls and homes of the Feyspire. The talent of woodsinging is passed on down through the generations and has been slowly lost over time, as more and more elves seek a life outside of the clan home. Only a few still have the ability and can be called a true taurlindir or woodsinger.
